  • Farmer’s exposure visit on utilization of straw was held on 19/12/2019 at Central Institute of Agriculture Engineering (CIAE), Bhopal. The total 48 farmers (20 female farmers and 28 male farmers) from Sehore district participated in the visit. Dr. Dushyant Singh (PI) and Dr. BM Nandede (CoPI) participated and facilitated the exposure visit with scientists and technical staff of Agricultural Mechanization Division, Agricultural Energy Division, Prototype Production Centre and Farm Section of the ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal. On field demonstrated could not be conducted due to unfavorable field conditions. However in the machines were demonstrated in laboratory of farm yard. The farmers who follow the Soybean-Wheat and Rice-Wheat cropping system under conservation agriculture technique were enlightened on utilization of the straw and agricultural waste.
